Also, Barr. Ashibi Peters and Nelson Ojajuni picked the tickets for Ese-Odo and llaje 1 constituencies respectively.

Olasogba, said he was vying for the senate to impact on people and people should be expecting mass oriented bills as he impacted on people as former state lawmaker through a private bill initiated and passed into law.

He noted that service to humanity is his focus through laws that will make meaningful impacts on their lives.

The ideology of the ASD, according to him, is different from other political parties in term of delivering dividends of democracy to people ,adding that it will give the party edge to win the elections.

Also, the State Coordinator of the party, Barr. Adeola Kayode Adeola, said the ASD, which is a grassroot party with good ideology decided to go for consensus mode of picking its candidates, saying that all members were regarded as delegates for them to choose leaders to represent people of the state and the country in the 2019 elections.

Adeola, who described the exercise as free and fair assured the trust of the party in the candidates to fulfil their campaign promises.

The party, he disclosed will carry people along through its transparency to win political offices both at the state and national levels in the coming elections.

“Mechanism to be put in place by the party to win the elections is about the rule of law, determination and commitment” he stated
