The son of the immediate past Commissioner of Justice and Attorney-General of Ondo state, Mr. Adekola Olawoye, SAN, Oluwagbemiga Emmanuel during the weekend took his heart-throb, Sedogan Hunjenukon to the alter in Lagos.
The serene environment of Victoria Island, venue of the wedding was adorned with the latest fashion designs as families, friends and well wishers gorgeously dressed to rejoice with the new couple.

The marriage ceremony commenced with engagement where Olawoye led prominent indigenes of Owo including the representative of Olowo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye to the family of Elder Idowu Hunjenukon from Badagry to officially ask the hand of their beautiful daughter, Sedogan in marriage in accordance with Yoruba culture and tradition.
After the colorful engagement, the marriage train moved to the Church of God Mission also in Victoria Island, Lagos where the father of the bride, Elder Hunjenukon officially handed his beloved daughter, Sedogan to the groom, Oluwagbemiga as wife.
In his homily, the officiating priest, Rev. Chris Ubamadu called on the bride and the groom to see marriage as a team work and not master servant relationship.

According to the clergy, for two flesh from two different backgrounds to truly become one, they must be deeply rooted in Christ concluding that, marriage is a sort of bank with huge deposits without withdrawal.
At the well attended reception, the triumphant entry of the bride and the groom literally turned to a dance competition as they were ushered into the tastefully decorated hall with melodious tunes.
The parents of the groom, Mr. & Mrs Olawoye while expressing gratitude to God and family members for gracing the occasion reminded the new couple that it takes tolerance, respect and trust to remain in marriage.

In the same vein, the parents of the bride, Elder and Mrs Hunjenukon who could not hold back their joy warned the bride and the groom against imitation of ungodly cultures, fake civilization and wrong values.
Other dignitaries at the wedding proverbially described marriage as the Ministry of Offence where the husband as the Permanent Secretary is forgiveness with first degree in understanding, Master’s degree in tolerance and PhD in overlooking mistakes.
According to them, parents should de emphasise the ongoing practice where priority is given to preparation for elaborate wedding ceremony instead of moral upbringing of their children as recent development has shown that, more and more children are becoming morally bankrupt which is responsible for the high rate of divorce in the society today.

The new couple while thanking God and their parents for making the wedding a huge success expressed their readiness to invite God as the head of the new home and allow wisdom, knowledge and understanding to dictate their daily conducts.
