Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations, Boye Ologbese, has commended the State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for successfully hosting the Global Entrepreneurs Festival in Akure, Ondo State.

The three-day event brought together entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and representatives from the diaspora, showcasing Ondo State’s vast potential and firmly establishing Akure as a business and tourism hub on the global map.

At the conclusion of the festival, Ologbese praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for his visionary leadership, which ensured the seamless execution of the event.

“The governor’s emphasis on peace and security throughout the festival created a conducive environment for participants and visitors, presenting Ondo State as a stable and welcoming destination for investment and tourism,” he added.

The Commissioner also expressed gratitude to Dr. Francis Summy Smart, the Special Adviser to the governor on Entrepreneurship, for his tireless efforts in coordinating the festival.

“Dr. Summy Smart’s commitment to promoting and empowering local entrepreneurs played a key role in the event’s success.

Ologbese emphasised that the festival further solidified Ondo State’s position as a growing centre for entrepreneurial excellence while highlighting Akure’s potential as a premier tourism destination.

A key focus of the festival was showcasing Akure’s rich cultural heritage and tourism opportunities.

He disclosed that the Ondo State diaspora is ready to support the state’s development, particularly in establishing Akure as a global tourism destination.

“Akure is more than just the capital of Ondo State; it is a city rich in culture, talent, and opportunities,” Hon. Ologbese stated. “The Global Entrepreneurs Festival provided an excellent platform to demonstrate that Akure is ready to welcome the world,” he revealed.
