People United By Sports (PUBS) has put all arrangement in place to host maiden edition of Dele Ologun Street Soccer tagged: “DOSS 2023” in Iju and Ita Ogbolu on 14 and 15 December this year.

President of PUBS, Seun Betiku in a chat with newsmen disclosed that the tourney will be decided in two centers, adding that the two days competition will kick off in Ita ogbolu on 14-12- 2023 while Iju will be the host on second day.

He added that the purpose of the competition is to unearth budding talents from the grassroots, saying the competition will not start and ended with the two communities.

Betiku said the street soccer will be five aside competition, which will accommodate all age grades.

“It will be an open competition, where anybody can participate without age barrier.”

He added that the tourney will be lively with a lot of side attractions, adding that there will be a bountiful prize to be won by the winner of the competition.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Otunba Bamidele Ologunloluwa and other football stakeholders will be on ground to cheer and ensure that outstanding players in the competition are promoted beyond expectations.
