Olominu buries mother in grand style

It was celebration of life last weekend when the remains of late Madam Florence Omoleyo Olominu was laid to rest after a funeral service held at Oke-Odu area of Akure.
The funeral service was attended by many dignitaries including management and staff of Owena Press limited led by Editor of The Hope title, Mr Akin Adubuola and others.
Madam Olominu was the mother of Deputy Editor of The Hope Newspaper, Mr Bisi Olominu.
Delivering his sermon at the service, Rev Kayode Agunbiade of House of Faith Mission, Akure said death is not the end but a means to eternity for those who knew their God while living
He said the spirit leaves the body immediately after the death as he charged Christian to serve God and obey his commandments while still alive.
“Life after earth is infinity. No Mercy after death. Death is not the end, the case of Lazarus and the rich man after their death is an attestation to that fact. Spirit is not dead but the body. Spirit leaves immediately death took the deceased”, he said.
Agunbiade said sin begins with a bad thought in their lives that will definitely make them a sinner and that drunkenness will lead to perdition.
Speaking on behalf of the children, Mr Bisi Olominu thanked God for the life well spent of her late mother who he described as lover of everybody.
Guests were later treated to a sumptuous entertainment by the children of the deceased
