Olowo charges doctors on service to humanity

The Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III has charged members of the Nigerian Association of Resident Medical Doctors, Federal Medical Centre, Owo, branch to be  committed in their service to humanity.

Oba Ogunoye gave this charge when the doctors paid him a courtesy visit in his palace recently.

The Olowo who was happy to receive the young medical professionals emphasized their critical role in the health sector in the country.

The monarch went down memory lane by tracing the history of the establishment of the federal health institution.

Earlier, the chairman of the resident doctors, Dr Samuel Aluko who led the delegation congratulated the monarch for the rancour free process that brought him to the throne.

Dr Aluko appealed to the monarch to assist in attracting facilities which are not in the institution to the place.

While advocating for a Community Health Insurance Scheme for the people, Dr Aluko promised that the association will continue its free medical outreach in the area.
