Jimoh Ahmed,Owo
In furtherance of his efforts to ensure injured victims of the Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo gets better, the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, has visited the various hospitals in the town to know how they are responding to treatments.
Oba Ogunoye, who was accompanied by members of the Olowo-In-Council visited the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Owo and Saint Louis Catholic Hospital, Owo, where he assessed the rate of recovery of the victims.
At the FMC, Owo, the monarch was received by the Chief Medical Director, Dr Ahmed Adeagbo, who welcomed his entourage into the premises who later took him round the wards.
Dr Ahmed informed the Olowo that the patients are gradually responding to treatment, while some who needed surgery are being prepared for the stage of treatment.
The Monarch who sympathized with the patients, also prayed for their quick recovery.
At the St Louis Catholic Hospital, the hospital’s Administrator, Reverend Sister Agnes Adeluyi, led the Monarch round the wards where the injured patients are receiving treatment.
Rev Sister Adeluyi, who appreciated the presence of Oba Ogunoye at the hospital, told him that the patients are responding to treatment while their staff are doing their best to manage the situation.
Oba Ogunoye, thanked the Administrator and the staff for rising up to the challenge when the situation called for it, wishing injured victims speedy recovery.
