An Ondo state High Court of Justice sitting in Akure, the state capital has commenced the prosecution of the alleged killer of the daughter of the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state.

The accused person, Seidu Adeyemi was brought to the court from the Olokuta medium prisons facility where he was  remanded.

Leading the prosecution was the State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Barr Adekola Olawoye.

However, the trial was stalled as the defendant had no legal representation in court.

Justice Samuel Bola who asked him about the whereabouts of his people and whether they were not aware of the case against him, directed that he must ensure that he has a legal representation by the next date of adjournment so that his case could have an expeditious process.

He thereafter adjourned the case till October 2, 2018 for taking of plea.
