The Olurese of Irese in Ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State, Oba Falegan Babatunde, has endorsed the Speaker and lawmaker representing Ifedore State constituency in the State House of Assembly, Mr. Bamidele Oleyelogun for another term.

Oba Babatunde hinged his reason for supporting the re-election bid of the Speaker of the Assembly on his immense contributions to the development of Irese community since he assumed office.

According to him, apart from assisting the youth of the constituency in securing jobs and admissions, no fewer than three separate empowerment programmes have been organised by Oleyelogun to reduce unemployment and put smiles on the faces of the constituents.

The Speaker and his entourage had visited Oba Babatunde in his Palace to acquaint him with a block of three classrooms to be built at St. David’s Anglican Pry School and other projects in the community.

He described the lawmaker as very humble, responsible and one of the best lawmakers in the state who always fight for the development of their constituencies and the state at large.

Speaking at the Palace, Oleyelogun appreciated the monarch and the people of the community for their continued support for the APC led government in the state, promising to continue to do more for the development of the ancient community.

The Speaker informed the monarch that the three classrooms to be built in the community would be done by artisan members of the community through direct labour to prevent capital flight and improve the economy in the area.

He also promised the Palace two giant Ox fans and a generating set as part of his contribution to the new Palace.

Also, in Ijare where the party leaders and supporters met to strategise for victory, the Special Adviser to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Transport, Tobi Ogunleye and the immediate past caretaker Chairman of Ifedore Local Government, Dipo Ajibola, assured the readiness of the leaders of the APC in Ifedore to mobilise for the overwhelming victory of president Muhammadu Buhari, Bamidele Oleyelogun and all the candidates of the APC in the forthcoming February 16 and March 2 general elections.

Ogunleye described all the party leaders and APC in Ifedore Local Government Area as one indivisible family and a united body, saying “we are united for president Muhammadu Buhari, we are united for Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, we are united for APC. We can’t afford to lose”.

He emphasised that the party would go to the poll and deliver massively for president Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, Bamidele Oleyelogun and all APC candidates that would protect the interest of the people in the local government.

He equally called on the governor to give appointments to party leaders and other faithful supporters of the party in the council area to empower them.

Speaking after the political meeting, Dipo Ajibola, said, “we all agreed to work for our party, APC. Say Baba, say Alash, say Oleyelogun, say APCl.

Reacting, the Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly and lawmaker representing Ifedore State constituency, Bamidele Oleyelogun, thanked all the party leaders for their commitment to the victory of the party, saying Ifedore would continue to remain one big family devoid of division or rancour.
