- The Chairman of Idanre Local Government Area, Mr. Smart Adeuyi Omotadowa, has charged the newly sworn-in Supervisors and Special Advisers to view their appointments as a call to responsibility, urging them to uphold the values of loyalty, discipline and selfless service in the discharge of their duties.

He gave this charge during their inauguration after they were cleared by the legislative arm of the local government, which is headed by Rt. Hon. Folarin Osedele.
The newly inaugurated Supervisors and Advisers are: Abimbola Adewoloye, Yemi Adegoke, Bola Akindana, Oluwaseun Akinrinlade, Afolabi Akinwa, Idowu Akinuli, and Lanke Akinde.

Omotadowa encouraged them to make the most of their tenure by cooperating with the Executive arm, the legislative arm, and the civil servants. He urged them to see themselves as nominees, not only of the Governor and the Chairman, but also of the legislative arm, the APC, the local government and the community.
The Chairman emphasised that, with the EASE agenda of the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, they should strive to uphold the principles of integrity and professionalism in whatever capacity they serve. He reminded them that their positions are temporary and that others will take over in the future.
Responding on behalf of the appointees, Adegoke expressed gratitude to the State Governor, Aiyedatiwa, the APC Chairman in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin and the Executive Chairman Adeuyi Omotadowa, for the opportunity to serve the community and the party in such an important capacity.
Dignitaries at the event included: the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Folarin Osedele, and all the councilors representing the ten wards in the local government; the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Mrs. Morenike Adejoro; the Vice Chairman of Idanre Central LCDA, Hon. Kolawole Olomola; the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Felix Akinfala; the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Felix Teniola and the wife of the former Commissioner for Environment, Mrs. Celina Akinwalire .
