Ondo 2020: RTEAN supports Akeredolu for second term

The Ondo State chapter of the Executive members of Road Transport Employees Association of Nigeria, have declared readiness to work towards the victory of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu second term ambition in office.

The executive members of the association gave the declaration during their courtesy visit to the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters and Strategy, Mr. Victor Olabimtan,

Speaking, the State Chairman of the RTEAN, Prince Williams Adepoju, disclosed that the members of the paid the visit to throw their weight behind the Governor Akeredolu second term ambition due to tremendous achievements his administration has been able to achieve within two and half years in office.

He added that his achievements particularly in road network, education sector and infrastructure spurred them to supports him for second term.

His words ” We are assuring Mr Governor of our support for his second term in office”

In his welcome address, Olabimtan assured the association’s members the readiness on the part of the Governor Akeredolu to work with the members of the RTEAN and others groups who want the best for the people of the State.

Olabimtan explained that the decision of the governor to recontested for second term based on the need to transform the state for better through his ongoing developmental projects across the state.

He noted that the Akeredolu-led administration in no small measure had brought development through construction of roads, construction of bore-holes, renovation and building of new schools among other infrastructures within two and half years of his administration in the office.
