Ondo 2024: Olabimtan, Omole, Ajana, Adeogun, other APC leaders in Akoko SW meet, vow to deliver massive votes for Aiyedatiwa

Ahead of the forthcoming November 16, 2024, governorship election in Ondo State, top chieftains and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state today resolved to remain united and charged members of the party to go all out to ensure Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his running mate, Dr Olayide Adelami, record a massive victory in the area.

They also urged APC members to embrace the spirit of teamwork ahead of the coming governorship election.

The leaders made the call during a party meeting held at Ọkà Àkókó, the headquarters of the local government, on Sunday.

The meeting, organised by APC leaders in Àkókó South West Local Government Area of Ondo State, aimed to gear up party members’ consciousness ahead of the coming governorship election.

Ondo State SUBEB Chairman and former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Victor Olabimtan, encouraged party members to embrace teamwork.

Also, the Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Transportation and former lawmaker, Akogun Olugbenga Omole, commended party members for coming out in their numbers to attend the meeting.

Akogun Omole charged the members to sustain their support for Governor Aiyedatiwa to secure massive votes in the local government on November 16, 2024.

On his part, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy, Johnson Alabi, tasked all ward chairmen to mobilise their wards for the party’s success.

According to Ade Adeogun, former MHR representing Àkókó SW/SE, the local government has a solid structure to deliver for Aiyedatiwa’s success.

APC Party Chairman, Àkókó South West, Chief Olashehinde Mise, urged party members to remain united.

Other stakeholders present at the meeting include a former Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Chief Abdulkadir Olajide Ajana, SAN; Prince Boye Ologbese, Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Affairs; Felix Alonge, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Investment; Mr Gbenga Atiba, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security; Elder Lawrence Rogbitan, Chairman of the APC Akoko South West Elder Council; Dare Emiola, a former lawmaker and Chairman of the Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission; as well as Dr Victor Ategbole and a host of other party leaders.
