Ondo A-G, Adegoke charges workers on diligence

Workers in the office of the Auditor-General, Ondo State have been charged to be obedient to God and diligent to duties.
The state Auditor-General, Mr. Sunday Adegoke gave the charge during prayer session for the new year.
He restated his commitment to get the best out of the workers to achieve the objectives of the agency, enjoining them to be obedient to God and committed to work.
According to him, “The motive of the programme was to thank God for his grace and protection throughout year 2020 especially during the ranging COVID-19 pandemic. And also, to pray to God for grace to sustain them in the new year.”
He congratulated all the workers for making it to the new year and prayed that God will continue to strengthen and uphold them.
Prophet Oluwatobilola Omoniyi in his message urged workers to work by the statute of the Lord and be their brothers keeper in the new year.
“We should learn to trust in God with all our heart, we will have no regret in doing so.”
Director of Administration, Mr. Kayode Adigun appreciated the workers for their supports over the years, stating that the office bench mark for 2021would be met.
He urged the staff to continue to intensify efforts towards meeting their targets in order to achieve the aims and objectives of the office.
The workers thanked the leadership of the office for beginning the year with prayers and thanksgiving, and promised to give their best in discharging their duties.
