As Ondo State All-Stars Football Competition reached it’s climax, Ondo City All Stars pummeled Akure Veterans 3-1 in the first semi final of the tourney.
While Igbo All-Stars defeated Akure All-Stars 1-0 in the second match of the day.
Former Sunshine Stars striker, Dele Olorundare scored a brase before Jimoh Aremu increased the lead with a beautiful out box shot.
Taiwo Abulatan scored a consolation goal for Akure Veterans.
Meanwhile Oluwadare Matins’ lone goal was all Igbo All-Stars needed to dump Akure All- Stars out of the competition.
Mayowa Akinwande with three assists for Ondo All – Stars won the Man of The Match (MOTM).
The retired but not tired footballers displayed beautiful Football artistry to the admiration of the spectators at the stand.
Ondo All- Stars will now tackle Igbo All-Stars in the final this Saturday.
