The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has showered praises on workers for their unyielding resilience, steadfast commitment, and loyalty to industrial harmony, describing the existing cordiality between the labour force and government as a model for others to emulate.
In a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr Alex Kalejaye, marking the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration, the state chairman of the party, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, commended the workforce for keying into the developmental agenda of the state government, saying the current industrial peace in the state was a reflection of uncommon synergy between the government and its employees.
Adetimehin equally lauded the state government for its forward-thinking approach to workers’ welfare, citing the implementation of the minimum wage last year and the prioritisation of staff wellbeing as concrete strides.
“The party salutes the unwavering dedication of our workers. Their zeal and pursuit of excellence are the driving force behind the progress we are witnessing in the Sunshine State,” he said.
While reiterating the APC-led administration’s commitment to sustainable development, the party pledged to continue pushing for improved living standards for the people.
“The APC congratulates all workers in Ondo State on this year’s celebration and wishes them continued strength and prosperity,” the statement read.
