Ondo APC assures rapid development in 2025

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has assured residents of significant developmental strides in 2025, emphasising its commitment to transforming the state.
In a New Year message, the State Chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin, commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his determined efforts to drive both physical and economic growth.
The statement, issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye, highlighted the governor’s prompt signing of the 2025 budget into law.
Adetimehin described the move as “a mark of readiness for action” in the year ahead.
The 2025 fiscal plan, tagged the ‘Budget of Recovery,’ prioritises infrastructure development, with over 34 per cent allocated to construction projects.
Reflecting on the administration’s achievements over the past year, the party expressed satisfaction with its initiatives to foster peace and development, describing its performance as “very impressive.”
Adetimehin stated, “We are fully convinced that the state government is set to implement the newly passed budget to the letters. The results can only be rapid physical and economic development. Our people are going to be the ultimate beneficiaries, to the glory of God.”
The chairman also urged residents to rally behind the APC-led government, ensuring the successful implementation of its programmes.
He further called for widespread support in the upcoming local government elections on January 18, 2025, urging voters to back APC candidates for efficient governance at the grassroots level.
In its closing remarks, the party extended wishes for a meaningful and prosperous New Year to its members and all residents of the state.
