The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC,) in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, has commended a member of the House of Representatives for Owo/Ose federal constituency, Hon.Timehin Adelegbe for his tremendous achievements in delivering dividends of democracyv to his constituency in line with his campaign promises.

Adetimehin ,who further apprecuated the lawmaker for knowing his onions in appearing before journalists to defend his achievements , saying this made him proud of him, as his achievements are practical and visible.

He described the him as a man entrusted with responsibility who has performed to expectations.

Adetimehin noted that the APC is the only party in the state that has been able to sustain itself successfully, unlike other parties

He stated this during a briefing in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Speaking, the lawmaker, Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, said that his commitment to the development of his constituency aligns with the All Progressives Congress (APC) agenda of making life more meaningful for the people.

Adelegbe, who highlighted numerous achievements in education, infrastructure, agriculture, and empowerment, stated that his empowerment programmes for constituents this year would exceed N3 billion.

According to him, last year’s empowerment programme was over N1 billion, and this year’s will be tripled.

The lawmaker emphasised that his dedication to improving the lives of his constituents through various initiatives has yielded positive results in transforming the lives of beneficiaries.

He pointed out that several projects, including infrastructural development, school renovations, skill acquisition centres, and bursary awards for students, had been completed and were ready for commissioning, while efforts were being intensified to complete all ongoing projects.

His efforts in agriculture, he explained, have benefited farmers through the distribution of improved cocoa seedlings, farming tools, and training in modern techniques.

On infrastructure, Adelegbe noted that several communities have benefited from the installation of solar lights, construction of roads, bridges, town halls, and the drilling of boreholes.

He added that thousands of market women, youths, and artisans had received financial aid, work tools, and business grants to boost their economic activities.

Adelegbe hinted that sports and healthcare have witnessed tremendous progress, with the ongoing construction of stadiums in Owo and Ifon, as well as diagnostic centres and new healthcare facilities.

He expressed appreciation to the people of the constituency for their loyal support and trust in his representation, promising to continue delivering more dividends of democracy in line with his campaign promises.
