Ondo APC chieftain, Ajongbolo hails Aiyedatiwa’s tribunal success

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akoko, Mr. Oluwaseun Ajongbolo, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his landmark victory at the Election Petition Tribunal, describing the outcome as a blessing for the people of Ondo State.
In an exclusive interview with The Hope on Thursday, Ajongbolo said Governor Aiyedatiwa’s triumph was a clear endorsement of his commitment to the welfare of Ondo residents.
He said, “Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory is a blessing to the people of our state because he truly has their best interest at heart. We all believed he would win at the Tribunal, and the result confirms that. Winning in all 18 local government areas shows how much the people trust and support him; the 18-0 victory is clear and cannot be challenged.”
Ajongbolo emphasised that even before the Tribunal delivered its judgment, the Governor had remained focused on governance and development.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has already commenced several projects and launched new initiatives. Just this week on Tuesday, he visited Akungba to flag off the dualisation of the Akungba-Ikare road. This demonstrates that he has not allowed distractions to deter him from fulfilling his mandate.”
With the legal battle now settled, the APC chieftain expressed optimism that the Governor would accelerate his development agenda.
“Now that the legal battle is over, we believe Governor Aiyedatiwa will do even more. The confidence the people have shown him will push him to deliver more projects and improve the lives of everyone across the state. His focus has always been on good governance, and he will continue on that path.”
Ajongbolo also called for unity among Ondo residents, urging all political divides to be set aside in support of the Governor’s leadership.
“This victory has united the people and strengthened our hope in the future. It is time for everyone, regardless of political differences, to come together and support the Governor. We are confident that Ondo State will witness greater progress under his leadership.”
