The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Onisere ward, Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State, Olosunde Uthman, is dead.

It was gathered that the chairman died in the early hours of Tuesday.

The cause of the death of the Osun State indigene has not yet been known.

The incident was said to have thrown party faithfuls in the ward into serious mourning.

A source said the deceased  had been buried yesterday his hometown, Ajagase, Ola Oluwa Local Government area of Osun State, according to Islamic rites

It was  learnt that  the deceased was among the people who were in Owo last Friday to bid the late former governor of the state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, farewell.
