Ondo association of retired HoS, PermSecs inaugurates new exco

The Ondo State Association Of Retired Heads Of Service And Permanent Secretaries on Thursday, inaugurated their new executive with Mrs. Mojisola Ajayi and Dr. Deji Akinwalere as President and Vice President respectively
The election and inauguration held at the 208th meeting of the union at union’s Secretariat, Alagbaka, Akure.
The new President, Mrs Mojisola Ajayi vowed not to disappoint members and pledged to be fair and just to all, without criticism. “I’ll ensure that all members are carried along and I will use my position for the progress of the association, I’ll conform with the rules and regulations guiding the association”.
She appealed to the members to cooperate with her, particularly the executive members, saying, “they should let me know where they want us to go or do and bring their suggestions forward.”
Also speaking, the new Vice President of the Association, Dr Deji Akinwalere appreciated the members for their unanimous vote, promising not to betray their trust in him and perform to the best of his ability.
Alhaji Kunle Sanni, a retired Permanent Secretary, congratulated the new President and her vice, stressing that they are unique to be put in the positions.
“The new President is reliable, intelligent, knowledgeable, democratic, easy person to work with and firm. I’m confident that we will achieve a lot through her and we will support her.”
Also, the immediate past Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele expressed his confidence in the new President and her exco’s ability to deliver, adding that Mrs Mojisola Ajayi has contributed positively to the growth of the association.
Ogundele urged her to ensure that various visions and projects on ground are carried out and completed as promised.
The returning officer, a retired Solicitor General and retired Permanent Secretary, Mr Adedapo Akindele noted that the process of electing the new leaders was peaceful and smooth.
He commended the members for their unity and cooperation.
