Ondo distributes cocoa seedlings

Ondo State Ministry of Agriculture  will tomorrow commence the annual distributions of free improved cocoa seedlings to farmers.

The annual distribution of free improved cocoa seedlings is part of the ministry’s deliberate strategy to ensure farmers expand, increase yields and income

The distribution of  cocoa seedlings according to statement from  the ministry of Agriculture, Bolu Ajijo will kick at Ile Oluji in Ile-Oluji Local Government area.

The train will move to Olupona near Itaoniyan in Akure South Local Government area on Wednesday while the distribution train will berth at Ehinogbe area in Owo Local government area of the State on Thursday.

The statement advised Cocoa farmers at Ondo, Ikare and Okitipupa to visit ADP offices and nurseries in their locality for their consignments.

The Commissioner for Agriculture. Otunba Adegboyega  Adefarati lead the management of the Ministry to each of the designated centre for the  distribution.
