The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, on Tuesday visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The visit was to brief the President on the just concluded governorship election in Ondo State.
The Governor thanked the President for his fatherly support and for providing exemplary leadership that enabled a free, fair and peaceful election in the State.
Aiyedatiwa and Adelami also presented their Certificates of Return to the President.
They were accompanied by the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
President Tinubu, who congratulated the Governor and his Deputy on their overwhelming victory, urged them to reciprocate the people’s gesture through their commitment to the development of the State.
