Ondo empowers youth with MOBitooT-
In a bid to ensuring a secured future and life full of abundance for her youths, Ondo State Government has empowered youths in the state with the use of a device called MOBitooT.
Ondo State Chairman of Pools, Betting & Lotteries Board, Mr. Jide Akinroluyo declared this during a sensitisation meeting with youths of Akure South Local Government Headquarters in Akure, the state capital.
The chairman according to a statement from the Press Officer, Ministry of Finance, Itunu Lijofi said the device would be used in conjuction with android phone after downloading MOBitooT application from the internet.
Mr. Akinroluyo said the device would be given to registered participants that are ready to be identified as agents of the board, after following the stages involved as contained in the manual being given to them.
He encouraged the participants to key into the programme assured that the device would give them opportunity to generate income for themselves in different areas such as; payment of DStv, selling different categories of recharge cards, transfer of money and payment of BEDC bill etc.
‘The sensitisation meeting which cuts across the 18 local government areas of the state, kickstarted from the headquarter.
Earlier, the Secretary to the Board, Mr. Oluwole Akinya said the sensitisation and empowerment is to help those who are not gainfully employed.
He therefore advised them to give adequate attention to the sensitisation in order to benefit from it.
