Ondo FRSC promises safety on roads

Ondo State command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has promised to make the State’s roads one of the safest in the country.
The State’s Sector commander of the FRSC, Mr Ezekiel Sonallah, gave the assurance while on a courtesy visit to the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in the state Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN.
The sector commander was accompanied by the state coordinator of Special Marshal, Mr Tunde Adeoba, and the state past coordinator, Mr Akindodewa.
The sector commander congratulated Dr.Ajulo for his numerous achievements since he assumed office.
The visit aimed to solicit support of the government and the ministry regarding the zonal conference of the FRSC coming up in Ondo state by August
The Attorney General thanked the commander and his team for the visit and promised to partner the FRSC to make Ondo state one of the safest in terms of road safety.
Dr, Ajulo, emphasized the importance of good road networks for the protection of lives and property.
He suggested the implementation of child safety law and the re- introduction of the mobile court for road offenders.
To achieve this, Dr, Ajulo called for a constant workshop between road safety corps and staff of the Ministry of Justice.
The Attorney General promised to work towards making sure that all members of the state exco are decorated as Special Marshal.
The Attorney General later donated a sum of N250,000 to the command in support of the zonal conference.
The event witnessed presentation of gift to the Attorney General.
