Ondo Govt. engages Muslims in Ifedore LG, preaches tolerance

The Ondo State Government has urged Muslim faithful to continue praying for peaceful coexistence and the success of the present administration in the state and the Nigeria in general
The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, stated this while speaking at the Ifedore Ramadan prayers held at the Central Mosque, Igbara-Oke.
Osamaye emphasised that the peaceful coexistence of the people of Ondo State would create opportunities for rapid development and progress.
She, therefore, called on religious bodies and leaders to make it their duty to pray for the Aiyedatiwa-led administration.
The Special Adviser noted that over twenty central mosques in the local government were engaged in the programme to pray and interact with the people.
She urged the faithful to embrace religious tolerance to foster a peaceful society.
Also speaking, the Chief Imam of Ifedore Local Government, Alhaji Muyideen Adatiloye, assured that the Muslim community would continue to do its best to promote tolerance and pray for the success of the present administration in the state and the country at large
