Ondo guber: Accord Party ‘ll present credible candidate – Falaiye

Ahead of the next year governorship election in Ondo State, the Accord Party (AP) in the State has said that the necessary machinery would be put in place to present a credible candidate that has what it takes to win the poll.

The State Chairman of the party, Dr. Ajibola Falaiye disclosed this while receiving some youths of the party from the Northern Senatorial district of the state led by their leader, Mr Lateef Mohammed at the party secretariat.

The youth stormed the party secretariat purposely with a wish of presenting a viable governorship aspirant for the party in the 2020 gubernatorial election.

Falaiye thanked the group leader and his followers for their interest in the party and implored them to embark on more sensitization of electorate across the 203 wards ahead of the poll in the state.

His words ” Some youths stormed the party secretariat in Akure , notably from the Northern Senatorial zone purposely with a wish of presenting a viable candidate for the party in the November 2020 poll”.

The chairman, who noted the importance of youth’s role towards democratic development of the state said that the party will slog it out with other political parties through their support and commitment for the party to produce the next governor of the state.

Earlier, the Leader of the youth, Mr. Muhammed viewed that their choice aspirant to be presented as governorship candidate of the party would win at the election if given the party’s ticket.
