Ondo Guber: APC women group pledges support for Aiyedatiwa

A group, Committee of the SA on Mobilisation to the National Women Leader of APC has pledged to spread the campaign for the re-election of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to the nooks and crannies of Ondo State.
The group, led by the coordinator, Mrs Kehinde Adeniran (aka Madam Kk) draws its membership across the 18 Local Government area of the State.
During a courtesy visit to the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Oladiji Olamide, the group pledged their unalloyed support for Governor Aiyedatiwa in the November election later this year.
They promised to spread the gospel across the 18 Local Government areas of the State, adding that all hands must be on deck to ensure the re-election of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
The group equally appreciated the party leaders in the State for a successful gubernatorial primary election, informing that since last year, they have been in the boat, working in their various local governments to achieve success for the party.
While playing host to the team in his office, the Speaker encouraged members to be steadfast in realizing their goals.
The Speaker maintained that members of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state must bury the hatchet and work as a team towards ensuring victory for the party come November this year.
Chief Oladiji pledged to offer all possible assistance to facilitate the re-election of Governor Aiyedatiwa in the November governorship election in the State.
Also speaking, the Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development, Princess Olawumi Fayemi- Obayelu noted that the SA’s out basically to mobilize women for APC victory.
According to her, women usually come out en mass to vote during elections, hence the need to mobilise women to vote and canvass vote for the Party’s candidate.
“We will work to ensure the current Governor emerges winner, that is why they are here. l appreciate the National Woman leader who inaugurated the group last year November so that women can actively participate in partisan politics .Gone are those days where men do everything for women. Women are coming out, going by the mandate on which they stand for”,she averred.
