Ondo guber: IPAC assures of violence free election

Ahead of this year governorship election in Ondo State, the State Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Mr. Charles Fagbohunka, has said that proper attention would be given by the council to political utterances that could lead to violence before, during and after the poll.

He assured that the IPAC as an umbrella body for the registered political parties in the state would give its best to control and ensure its members eschew utterances that can disturb peace being enjoyed in the state.

Fagbohunka stated this in a telephone interview with The Hope yesterday.

According to him, “IPAC as an advisory body to any governmental setting as far as Ondo State is concerned we are going to ensure that proper attention is been given to issues politically and ensure all political parties participate fully towards the successful conduct of the gubernatorial election in the state”

The IPAC chairman explained that the new executive of the council is giving its best by putting in place necessary machinery to carry members along in all government activities to deliver dividends of democracy to the downtrodden.

He the added that the major objective of the IPAC for consultation will be promoted for the sustainability of democracy in the country.
