Ahead of the November 16 gubernatorial election, the Peoples Democratic Party State Working Committee (SWC) in Ondo State has lifted the suspension on the State Youth Leader Comrade Folorunso Makinde.

This decision was contained in a statement issued and signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Kennedy Peretei, after a meeting of the SWC held at the State Secretariat in Akure.

It is in the spirit of general reconciliation to reposition the party for victory in the gubernatorial polls.

Recall that Makinde was suspended as State Youth Leader following the “Aketi Must Resume Or Resign” protest spearheaded by the Youth Wing of the PDP. He has since shown remorse and has been reabsorbed into the SWC accordingly.
