Ondo hauls gold at National School Racket Games

Ondo State shone like star at the National School Racket Games held at Teslim Balogun National Stadium Surulere, Lagos State.
About 21 states slugged it out in two Racket Games, of Badminton and Table Tennis.
The state won all their four gold medals in Badminton at the competition to emerge second overall winners and came first in Badminton.
Lagos State emerged overall winners with four gold, four silver, two bronze medals, while Kwara State came third .
Damilola Tolulope Oyedepo from Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School ,won gold medal in the Girls U -17 single, she doubled her gold medals in the girls doubles with her partner Salawat Tiamiyu from same school.
Loveth Olaoye Sunshineed of Saint Louis Grammar School ,Akure increased Sunshine State’s gold medal haul to three in the girls under -15 single.
While Ayomide Aina of Salas Secondary School,Akure crowned it up with another gold in under – 15 boys.
Coach, Tunmise Olalehin who led the team Ondo to competition praised all the players for making the proud at games.
He said they would not relent on their oars to raise the state flag high at the forthcoming National Youth Games in Ilorin.
