Hon. Suleiman Murtala, Akoko South East

The joy of Mr Suleiman Murtala representing Akoko South East knew no bound as he appreciated his people for the overwhelming support he got during the last election.

According to him, he promised his people quality representation as well as using his position to lobby the assembly members toward bringing meaningful development to the people.

He said his coming to the 10th Assembly will be an avenue to bring projects that will benefit the entire people to his constituency.

Murtala sought for maximum cooperation from the people of his constituent, adding that he will not deviate from people -oriented laws so as to allow them enjoy dividends of democracy.

He promised to make laws that will benefit the people of his constituency and Ondo state at large during his time in the Assembly.

Hon. Olajide Oguntodu, Akure South constituency 1

Another lawmaker-elect Olajide Oguntodu heaped praises on his constituent for the love and confidence which made them vote enmass for him during the recent Assembly election.

According to Olajide Oguntodu, “I want to appreciate God Almighty for the opportunity given to me to serve the people of Akure South constituency 1 and I want to assure them of an all-inclusive representation.”

Oguntodu thanked his family members, friends, associates and his teeming supporters who stood by him during and after the election for their unwavering support.

He reiterated his resolve to work with his colleagues and be available for the people of his constituency for credible performance.

“As a lawmaker, I want to assure you of getting back to you from time to time and carrying you along on every facet of government’s dealings that has to do with my constituency.”

He stated that during his reign in the House, he will propose laws that will alleviate poverty and promote youths engagement.

“My coming to the 10th Assembly is not to play opposition game, but to support government’s laws that would enhance the progress of the state,” he stated.

Primate Messiah Allen Oluwatoyin, Ese-Odo

Also speaking, another member-elect, Primate Messiah Allen Oluwatoyin representing Ese-Odo Local Government area, thanked his constituents for their support during the election and the party leaders.

As a teacher by profession, he said his concern is about the terrain of the constituency he is representing and promised to make laws that will help the environment grow.

The lawmaker said considering the level of educational decadence in the area, he promised to legislate law that will improve the education sector so as to enable his constituents feel the impact of government.

The clergyman cum politician said the mandate given to him will be handled with respect, promising to represent his constituency well in every areas.

Oluwatoyin, promised the people of his constituency better and proactive representation and to legislate laws that will promote peace and harmony in order for government’s presence to be felt in his area.
