Members of the Ondo State House of Assembly are to resume plenary session today after six weeks recess.
This was contained in a statement made by the Clerk of the House, Benjamin Jaiyeola, who stated that the resumption is at the instance of the Speaker of the House, Olamide Oladiji, calling all the State House of Assembly members to resume on Monday for legislative activities.
The Speaker of the House, while presiding at a plenary in June during the 10th Assembly inauguration declared a six weeks recess to enable the house put necessary things in order for the lawmakers towards smooth legislative activities.
He noted that a 72 hours notice will be given to Members by the Clerk before resumption.
The lawmakers are by this notice expected to attend to legislative assignments accordingly starting from Monday, while Mr. Speaker wishes all members travelling grace back from their various constituencies.
