Ondo LCDA: Caretaker chair unveils plan of actions

The newly appointed Caretaker Chairman of Irekari Local Council Development Area (LCDA)
Mr. Steve Otaloro, has outlined his plan of actions to bring about innovation that will propel development in the council.
He disclosed this during a press briefing in the council.
Otaloro who expressed his gratitude to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his appointment vowed to work in tandem with the governor’s vision for the state.
He emphasized his commitment to running an open government that encourages the active participation of various communities in the development of the LCDA.
According to him “l believed that by involving the people, the LCDA can achieve greater progress and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every citizen.”
The caretaker chairman also appealed for cooperation from the people, urging them to come together and fast-track the development of the LCDA.
He stated that his agenda for the development of the council will be revealed to the Alani of Idoani, Oba (Major Gen) Olufemi Olutoye after visiting all the traditional rulers in the area.
Otaloro believed that by engaging with the traditional rulers, he can gain valuable insights and support in driving the development agenda forward.
His appointment as the caretaker chairman of Irekari LCDA was made by the Governor of the state last week. He was subsequently screened, cleared and sworn in by the State House of Assembly along with other caretaker chairmen for the newly created 33 LCDAs and the existing 18 local governments in the State.
