The Commander of the Nigerian Navy Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Navy Captain Wasuku Alushi, has handed over to Naval Captain Ali Usman.

Navy Captain Ali Usman, who took over as Commander of the FOB Igbokoda from Navy Captain Wasuku Alushi on September 19, 2024, came from the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA).

The handing over ceremony commenced with a series of activities, including a familiarization tour of the base and the introduction of the officers.

The climax of the ceremony was the signing of the handing over and taking over notes.

In his address, Captain Wasuku expressed his appreciation to the officers and men of the FOB for their support, cooperation, professionalism, doggedness, and resilience throughout his tenure.
