Ondo NAWOJ hails Governor’s spokesman for supporting journalists’ widows

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ondo State chapter, has lauded the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, for fulfilling his promise to support widows of late journalists through the Ondo NAWOJ Education Support Fund.
Now in its fourth edition, the initiative is aimed at easing the burden of educating children of deceased journalists, a commitment Prince Adeniyan has consistently honoured over the years.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Tola Gbadamosi, and Secretary, Comrade Oluwatosin Ighoteguono, the association described the CPS as a compassionate and generous public servant whose empathy continues to make meaningful impact beyond his official duties.
“On behalf of the association and the beneficiaries, we sincerely thank Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan for keeping to his promises.
“We pray that God continues to bless and reward him beyond measure,” the statement read.
The Ondo NAWOJ chairperson also urged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds by channelling them strictly towards the educational needs of their children.
She stressed that the most honourable way to appreciate the gesture is to ensure the support serves its intended purpose.
Gbadamosi further called on the public to keep praying for Prince Adeniyan, especially as he remains committed to uplifting the underprivileged and giving hope to the needy in society.
