Ondo new judges vow to uphold justice, serve with diligence

The six newly sworn-in judges in Ondo State have assured citizens that they will perform their duties diligently and ensure that justice is served.
During the event at Cocoa House, Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure, one of the new judges, Justice William Daomi, speaking on behalf of the others, said that every litigant appearing before them would be satisfied with the process.
He said they would take their appointments very seriously and strive to uphold the cause of justice, as they have sworn to do.
Justice Daomi thanked the governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whom he said God had used to fulfil their dreams. He promised that they would discharge their duties without fear or favour, and with the utmost respect for the rule of law.
He acknowledged the challenges ahead and the high expectations from the citizens, assuring the people of Ondo State that they would carry out their responsibilities diligently.
According to him: “I would like to express our profound gratitude to Almighty God for this momentous opportunity and for the grace bestowed upon us to serve in this noble capacity.
“I would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Your Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for the confidence you have placed in us. The trust and responsibility you have invested in us come with great expectations, and we are fully committed to upholding the integrity of the judiciary, ensuring justice, fairness, and equity in the discharge of our duties,” he said.
He assured their family members that they would be good ambassadors and would not tarnish their families’ names.
The other judges sworn in are: Justice Adeola Adegoroye, Justice Justinah Kpemi, Justice Happiness Demehin-Ogunbayo, Justice Wumi Fabuluje, and Justice Idowu Ogunwumiju.
