Ondo NSCDC reaffirms commitment to protecting national assets

The Ondo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oluyemi Ibiloye, has reaffirmed the command’s commitment to safeguarding critical national assets.
Speaking at the new year prayer meeting of the corps held at the command’s headquarters in Akure, Ibiloye commended the officers for their professionalism and dedication in the previous year, highlighting their efforts in securing national infrastructure and combating insecurity.
“Thank you for your hard work last year. Together, we achieved our goals. You carried out your duties with professionalism and dedication. This year, let us continue with even greater resolve,” he said.
Ibiloye also called on the management staff to embrace innovation and develop strategies to improve their departments and units, underscoring the importance of continuous progress.
“To the management team, we are all engaged in on-the-job training, and much is expected of us. Be innovative and bring forward ideas to rejuvenate your departments and units,” he added.
The Commandant reaffirmed the NSCDC’s unwavering commitment to ensuring effective collaboration with other security agencies in the state.
The New Year parade was accompanied by prayers led by the command’s clergymen, who offered thanksgiving and prayed for divine protection for the officers in the year ahead.
Ibiloye stressed the importance of teamwork, urging officers to remain steadfast in their duties despite challenges, as the command aims to build on past successes and accomplish greater milestones in 2025.
