Ogunleye noted that other advantages are, maintenance of passangers manifest for safety and record purpose, and assistance in tracking misplaced luggage during trips.

The Special Adviser noted that the issues of  insecurity and accident make it necessary for people to go to accredited parks to ensure insurance cover for each passenger ,as many lives have been lost because of this.

According to him, the Ministry had started it before, but along the line  was unable to forge ahead, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that they are not only relaunching, but also rebranding.

Ogunleye who informed that only a token of  N100 will be paid per passenger traveling outside the state and N50 within the State from the original fare and not additional expenses.

He however said a minor who is not paying transportation fare has to pay N50 by the parents or guidance traveling with him within or outside the state so as to be covered.
