Ondo Police ready to combat crime in Odigbo

Police Area Commander, Ore Area Command, ACP Olusegun Ajamolaya has read a riot act to criminal elements in the area, warning them to desist from the act or meet their waterloo.
Talking tough, Ajamolaya told The Hope that the police and other security apertures are battle ready to continue to combat crimes in Odigbo local government and the state in general.
“I want to warn the criminal elements to move away from Ore and its environs. They should desist from their act or meet their waterloo. We are battle ready for them.
“The residents must join hands with the security agencies to continue to curb criminal activities in the area. Police alone cannot do it”.
On safety of people before, during and after the festive period, the police boss said, “The State Commissioner of Police have mapped out strategies and communicated to all divisional police officers and all security teams to make sure that people especially the motorists are safe to move on the roads.
“We know how strategic Ore is located, so the road must be safe for travellers as we move towards Christmas. I want to enjoined all our officers to be proactive to duty and be civil to the public.
He assured travelers of adequate patrol and surveillance of expressway to ensure a hitch-free Christmas.
He also assured the residents of Ore and its environs of adequate security of lives and properties before, during and after the festive period, urging them to report any strange movement to the police.
