The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun, has emerged the new Vice Chairman of the Conference of Speakers for the South-West geo-political zone.
Oleyelogun was elected during Conference of Speakers held in Lagos.
While attributing his emergence to the divine grace of God and unflinching support of his colleagues, the newly elected Vice Chairman assured the people of Ondo State and the South-West geo-political zone of a new era.
He expressed his readiness to work with his colleagues in the zone to ensure sustainable cooperation and progress for the overall development of the zone and its people.
According to him, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Obasa Mudasiru was elected the Chairman of the South-West zone.
He further promised to foster and consolidate on the existing peace and harmony in the region.
The Speaker equally reiterated his commitment to the healthier politicking in the southwest zone.
