Ondo Speaker gifts JAMB forms, pledges scholarship to students

No fewer than two hundred indigent students in Ondo Kingdom have benefited from the free distribution of this year’s JAMB forms by the Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji.

The event which came into effect at the Speaker’s constituency office, Italurowo Ondo, attracted students, parents, Community and political leaders across Ondo Kingdom including among others, the Chairman of Ondo East Local Government, Mr Joshua Ogunduyilemi.

Chief Oladiji who was elated by the large turnout congratulated the beneficiaries of this year’s gesture saying it was a way of gratifying his constituents for their support.

In his words of advice, the Speaker encouraged the students to take their studies serious and shun acts that could be detrimental to the attainment of their future goals.

He urged the students to be passionate in making their choices while filling the JAMB forms and embrace professional courses that would grant them gainful employments in future, in view of the prevailing employment situation across the globe.

The Speaker pledged to sponsor two best candidates in the upcoming JAMB examination through their university education.

Meanwhile a free preparatory class has been opened for all candidates in Ondo Kingdom to adequately prepare them for the upcoming UTME.

The parents and students on the occasion were full of praise for the the Speaker for his unrelenting and passionate love for his people.

They pledged their unalloyed support for Chief Oladiji in his future endeavours.

The Speaker has in the past invested in the youth through his numerous programmes, sponsoring youth education and facilitating youth employment.
