Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, has extended his congratulations to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, following the Supreme Court’s verdict affirming his victory in the  Novmeber 16, 2024 gubernatorial election.

Oladiji described the ruling as a resounding victory, noting that it reinforces the support of Ondo residents for the All Progressives Congress (APC), as reflected in the polls.

According to the Speaker, the apex court’s decision validates the earlier rulings of both the Election Petition Tribunal and the Appeal Court, which had upheld Aiyedatiwa’s mandate.

He further lauded the APC, its leadership, members, and supporters for their unwavering commitment during the electoral process.

Speaking on behalf of the state legislature, Oladiji called on other contestants to set aside their differences and rally behind the Aiyedatiwa-led administration in the collective quest for Ondo State’s development.
