President Muhammadu Buhari was yesterday assured of winning in Ondo State handsomely in the forthcoming general election as he won in 2015.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State said this while welcoming All Progressives Congress, APC leaders to the Presidential campaign rally in Akure.
The well attended rally held at MKO Abiola Democracy Pack was led by President Buhari and other party leaders.
Akeredolu described the people of Ondo State as very loyal to President Buhari saying the people voted for APC candidate even when he was in opposition in 2015.
“Ondo State is for President Muhammadu Buhari. President Buhari won in 2015 in Ondo State even as in opposition then, he will win in Ondo State handsomely. We are indomitable and committed to vote for you enmass in Ondo State. We love you.
“Please Mr President, be assured that you have won the election already.”
Akeredolu who used the avenue to thank God on behalf of the Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo for surviving an helicopter crash few days ago described him as a man of faith whose faith has kept him so far.
