Ondo SWAN commiserates with Edo over former Sunshine coach death

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ondo State Chapter, has expressed its sympathy to the Family, people of Edo State, Lobi Stars FC, Nigeria Coaches Association, Colleagues and other associates of late Coach Solomon Ogbeide for his sudden demise.
According to a release signed by the associations chairman and secretary, Mr Wahab Bankole and Mr Segun Giwa respectively, members of the Sports Writers family in the state received the news of Solomon Ogbeide’s death with shock.
“The association pays tribute to this great tactician, who served the State Football Agency’s apex team, Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure meritoriously and recorded huge success for the team.”
No doubt, coach Ogbeide, who was greatly admired by football followers will be missed and remembered for his good and highly commendable achievements with the Akure based football club.
“It is also our belief that the soccer loving people of the Sunshine State and indeed, Nigeria will not forget his contributions to football development.”
The statement added, “Our prayers and thoughts are with the families left behind by this God fearing and hardworking coach, as well as Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, where he worked as Technical Adviser until his death.”
