Following the recent approval for the recruitment of 1,100 teachers into public primary  schools in Ondo State, the documentation for successful candidates begins today at the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) hall, Akure.

The over one thousand new teachers emerged in the State Government’s latest move to fill vacancies in public primary schools across the 18 local government areas of the state.

According to a statement signed by the SUBEB Permanent Secretary, Wale Omomowo, and made available to The Hope, the exercise will last from today till Thursday, April 10, 2025.

The  statement indicated that the serial number of each candidate determines the date for the candidate to appear at the Board for documentation, the first day covering the first 100 candidates and subsequent days covering the same number of candidates, while the exercise will end with a mop up on April 10.

“Successful candidates are to come along with the following: registration printout; national identity card; birth certificate; primary school leaving certificate; secondary school certificate; NCE, Education Degree, or PGDE, as the case may be.

“Any successful candidate who refuses to appear within a month of this offer of employment will have it forfeited,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, the Board had earlier published the names of successful candidates for the recruitment.
