Ondo State Teaching Service Commission has debunked the rumour making the rounds on the purported teachers recruitment, which was said to have been ongoing at the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) headquarters in Akure.
A statement by the head of the Press and Public Relations Unit, Goodluck Akinyomi, revealed that the purported teacher’s recruitment advertisement did not emanate from the desk of the State Teaching Service Commission and no activity of such at the office of the Commission.
The Head of the Press and Public Relations Unit added that the Permanent Secretary of the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mrs Tolu Adeyemi, enjoined members of the public to ignore the recruitment advertisement and regard it as false.
Ondo TESCOM stressed that the state government is committed to ensuring a conducive teaching and learning environment for teachers and learners.
“Members of the public are advised to disregard the false information as the Ondo State Teaching Service Commission is not running any recruitment exercise now”.
Akinyomi further noted that the State government was committed to providing an enabling environment and relevant instructional facilities, in tandem with global best practices, for effective and efficient teaching and learning to thrive in all the public secondary schools in Ondo State.
He added that teachers in the state are enjoying the dividends of democracy through regular payment of salaries, regular promotion amongst other benefits for the deserving ones.
