For his anti-party activities, leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC in ward four of Ondo West Local Government yesterday suspended the member representing Ondo constituency two at the state House of Assembly Mr Wale Williams .
The suspension was contained in a letter written to the Ondo State Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC and signed by all the ward executives.
In the copy of the letter made available to The Hope, the party leaders said the lawmaker deliberately involved in all forms of anti party activities capable of destroying the good legacy of the APC party.
They submitted that if the action of the lawmaker was not checked, it will bring shame, ridicule and disrepute to the party both at local and state level .
They specifically mentioned the alignment of Mr Wale Williams with the state Deputy Governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi who has defected to the Peoples’ Democratic Party which they said is against the wish and directive of the party leadership at his ward, local government and state levels.
The party also alleged the lawmaker of unruly behavior, show of shame, thuggery and rascality among others which they said is capable of bringing disrepute to the party thereby subverting the collective will, sacrifice and aspirations of members of the party.
The suspension letter read: “The action of the lawmaker is a gross misconduct and a violation of Articles 21 (11) of the All Progressives Congress constitution as amended
The said action of the lawmaker amount to insubordination to party leaders, poor, representation of the good people of Ondo West in the state House of Assembly betrayed the trust reposed in him by APC . “
