Operatives lauded over release of abducted Principal, others

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, Mrs Lola Amuda, has expressed her gratitude to the Ondo State Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, all security agencies, organizations as well as individuals for their efforts at ensuring quick and safe release of the principal, the vice principal and other teachers of Auga Community Grammar School who were kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Head of Media of the ministry, Mr Olaoluwa Meshack and made available to The Hope.
The Permanent Secretary also thanked all religious leaders and people of the State for their concern and prayers during the period.
According to the release, Amuda rejoiced with the families of the affected officials and enjoined teachers in the state not to allow the incident diminish their zeal for the job, but rather remain resolute and be more committed than ever before.
Mrs Amuda called on everyone to be fervent in prayers against evils in Nigeria, expressing hope that these trying periods would pass away soon.
