‘Oppositions criticizing Buhari are corrupt’

By Jubril Bada

Former Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Mobilization and Political Matters, Mr. Olatunji Ifabiyi, has said that oppositions would continue to criticize the President Muhammadu Buhari APC-led administration in the country due to their involvement in corruption.
He said the anti-corruption fight of Nigeria’s President Buhari would not enable the oppositions to see good record of his government in almost six years in office.
Ifabiyi in an interview with The Hope said the comment of oppositions that it was mistake to have let the APC take over the reins of power at the centre was expected by the ruling APC as a party in power.
According to him, corruption in the country has been a major catastrophy worrying Nigeria as a nation from being developed.
“You don’t expect 100 percent of people in a state or country to support you. If President Buhari tarred all the roads in the nooks and crannies of Nigeria some people will still come up to criticize him” he stated
“Those that really worked for President Buhari to become the president of this country speak good of him and are still much with him
Ifabiyi recalled that the president”s impartiality and commitment towards fight against corruption had yielded good result, which include the sacks of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal and the former Head of the Civil Service, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita in his administration over corruption.
” Only Nigerians who have soiled their hands with corruption would regret administration of the APC at the centre” he posited
He added that those who have soiled their hands with corruption knew that the presidency has not relent in its war against corruption.
