Ore community lauds Akeredolu on industrial park

Traditional ruler and residents of Ore community in Odigbo Local government area of Ondo State have commended Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, for changing the face of the community, describing it as a positive move by the state government.

This followed the continuous efforts of the Akeredolu-led government to make the community an economic hub of the state by establishing not fewer than five industries in the area through Public-Private Partnership, PPP, to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the state and create wealth.

The Olore of Ore, Oba Adeolu Olatomide, commended the State Government for the numerous ongoing projects in the town which he said will improve the living standard of the people when fully completed.

The monarch however pledged that the residents would reciprocate the gesture by cooperating with the government for continuous development in the area and state in general.

A resident of Ore community, Mr Adeola Oyedeji lauded the governor for his vision to industrialized the state, said Ore will benefit positively from the developmental drives of the government.

He noted that when completed, the industries would serve thousands of unemployed individuals in the council area and the state.

According to Oyedeji, “We are happy to hear about the number of industries spring up in our town. The Fly Over Bridge here, the first in the history of Ondo state is ongoing and . This is good news we cannot but celebrate. The Ondo-linyi industry hub in Ore is also a positive move by the government to solve unemployment in the state.”

Another resident, Mrs. Bose Ajayi, a trader, commended the state government’s recent interventions in key areas of the state, which she said has enhanced market sales.

She said: “When there is huge construction going on somewhere, you see people coming in from different places. Some people are coming to work. These people will buy food, drink water and get other things. Here, I’m making double sales compared to before”.

“Some inter city roads have been rehabilitated and some are ongoing, this will enhance easy transportation within the community. I can tell you Ore have never had it so good like this and we are grateful to the ondo state government”, Mr. Abideen Abass also said.
